Cast iron products by ja-unendlich are handcrafted artworks, created using the rare Japanese sand-casting method. With up to 40 elaborate steps, each piece becomes a colorful one-of-a-kind – a testament to craftsmanship and care. “Even though the overall design of the YUFO may at first glance look like it’s from another planet, on closer inspection it turns out to be quite down to earth. At the same time, it appears more modern, flatter, and more dynamic than the Kambin model,” enthuses Aesthetics.
“That may be because the teapot has, so to speak, been lowered, which makes the dotted surface stand out even more,” explains Refinement.

The cast iron teapot is fully enamelled on the inside and comes with a stainless steel strainer. Cast iron is known for its ability to retain heat and cold for longer – ideal for enjoying hot tea over time, but also for cooling beverages. The included care instructions explain how, with proper use, the material’s natural durability ensures long-lasting enjoyment of this unique and beautifully crafted product.
